Inside the "Rooms" section of ZaK, you can create the room categories(double, triple, family) of your structure and the physical rooms (the real physical rooms that you have available for sale). First of all, it is necessary to create the typologies, by clicking on the + symbol.

Creating a room type
The defaul price is the price that will be assigned as default price. In this way if you don't specify the prices you won't take the risk to sell rooms at a low price.
In case you sell the rooms through an OTA, you can enter the same categories you sell on portals. Eventually you can add other categories that you want to sell "directly".
In case you already use WooDoo (Booking Engine/Channel Manager), you can easily import the existing types by clicking on the icon with the arrows:
In addition to the maximum price, it is necessary to define:
- a name for the room type
- an identification code of maximum 4 characters (e.g. DBL for double, FAM for family)
- the type (room, apartment, villa, bed, etc.)
- the basic occupancy for which you sell that room (e.g. 2 people)
- an alternative email address to which you can send notifications when that room is booked (optional field)
- a note that will appear in the voucher of the reservations related to that room
Finally, when you create a new typology in ZaK you have the possibility to enable the option "Authomatic room setup", so ZaK will ask you the quantity of physical rooms and the additional occupations with which you want to sell that typology. In this way ZaK will automatically create, for that typology, the physical rooms and the products with the additional occupations:
