In this section you can configure the main options for your Booking Engine. These are completely free settings, which you can configure as you wish! The section can be reached from the following link:

Let's see one by one the options you can customize!
1. Property info
Here you can choose
- the name of your property and a slogan, which will always be shown at the top throughout the reservation process
- a link to your privacy policy, which will be shown during the reservation process
2. Logo
Here you only need to upload an image with the logo of your property. This will also always be displayed on the top during the entire reservation process.
3. Top bar functionalities
Here you can choose:
- whether to show on the top right the section to contact you via one of your chosen methods ("Ask us")
- whether or not to show your guests reviews (only those you have approved)
- in which languages you want to allow the reservation process. Of course, any descriptions you enter (for rooms, packages, extras, policies, etc.) will have to be translated by you into all the chosen languages.
4. Currencies and prices
Here you can choose:
- the currencies in which your guests can make reservations
- whether prices should be rounded or not
- which way you want to show the city tax during the reservation process. Here it is important to make a break to explain these options:
City Tax Options
1) No info: with this option the city tax will not be mentioned during the reservation process.
2) Zak City Tax: with this option the city tax is calculated by Zak and shown during the reservation process. Of course, the calculation may be incorrect, as the ages of any children or any exemptions/reductions are not known yet. For this option, you must have subscribed to the ESSENTIALS package. The city tax will be calculated according to what you have configured in the Settings > Taxes > City Tax menu. It will then also be shown in the reservation details and in the voucher sent to the guest.
3) Custom texts: with this option you can display only text information about the city tax, without any calculation being made. For example, you can enter a text to inform the customer that a tax of 2€ per person will have to be paid at the property. You can write the text yourself and translate it into as many languages as you want, under Sales > Contents > Descriptions. This text will not appear on the voucher. And the tax will not be calculated by Zak in the reservation detail. You will have to recalculate it manually. Once recalculated, you can generate a new voucher and send it to the guest.
5. Room and best solution
Here you can choose whether the system should automatically assign a physical room to your reservations. Of course we recommend that you always leave this option active!
6. Checkin and Gender
Here you can choose:
- the time period during which check-in is allowed at your property, so that the guest during the reservation can choose a time within that period
- whether, among the data to be filled in, you also want to ask the guest for their gender
