WooDoo Feratel

Connection guide

Connecting Feratel with the Channel Manager

1. To connect the Feratel channel with our Channel Manager WooDoo, it only takes a few simple steps.

First, you need to go to WOODOO section, inside WuBook extranet.

On the left you will find the section YOUR CHANNELS to manage your portals/OTA, while in the right column you will find the section AVAILABLE CHANNELS where you can add new booking portals.

2. Click on the + next to AVAILABLE CHANNELS: A list of all the OTAs integrated with WooDoo and, therefore, potentially connectable to our Channel Manager will appear. Select Feratel and click on the small orange + next to the channel name.

The Feratel Channel will appear in the column YOUR CHANNELS.

3. Click on "Feratel".

Then enter your Feratel Hotel Code. First, however, make sure that your Provider has confirmed the connection's activation.

Then click on CONFIGURE and YES,I WANT TO RECONFIGURE THIS CONNECTION.

4. Now scroll down the screen to the ROOM ASSOCIATION section. Here, you need to map each room created with Feratel with the corresponding WuBook room.

NB: You must never map the same WuBook room more than once.
Eventually, if you need it, you can create in WuBook some virtual rooms. When you create them, remember to tick the box 'Woodoo only.'

☞ Docs: Anchorage - Derived room prices

Once finished, click on SAVE ASSOCIATION.

5. Once saved, scroll down the screen to the PER OCCUPANCY PRICES section.

Here, for each room, you will find the occupancies you have enabled on Feratel. For each occupancy, you must associate a corresponding WuBook room from which the prices will be taken. If you want to send the same price for different occupancies, you only need to enter the same WuBook room. Otherwise, you can create in WuBook virtual rooms with different occupancies. Remember, when you create them, to tick the box 'Only Woodoo.'

In the image below, the CHIC room price for 1 guest is taken from room 2/1, the price for 2 guests from room 2/2.

6. Scroll down to the RESTRICTIONS section and, for each Feratel rate, you must assign a corresponding WuBook price list and a related WuBook restriction plan.

☞ Docs: Rate Plans

7. Finally, go down to the PREFERENCES section. Here, you can tick the box "Always honour WuBook Restrictions closed dates" only if you want that the closures you set in the WuBook Restrictions plan are always honored and prevail on any other restrictions plan.
Then click on Save.

8. At this point, the Feratel configuration will be completed. In the WOODOO-CHANNELS section you will see the green icon on the right of the channel name. This means that the channel is correctly configured and active:

ATTENTION: the connection phase is the most delicate phase of the configuration. If, even with this guide, you do not feel confident to proceed, you can ask for assistance from the WuBook staff that will be happy to assist you during the process.
