Zak - Online Reception: guest-side reservation process

In order to make a reservation, the guest will access your Online Reception, which you must have already configured by following all the articles in the specific documentation:
Let's see together all the steps the guest will follow to make the reservation!

1. Date and occupancy selection

First the guest will see all available packages (if you have created them), then he can choose to book a package. Or he can enter dates and occupancy to search for all available accommodation.
If he needs more than one room, he can click on "Need multiple accommodation?" to search for multiple rooms, even with different dates and occupancy.

From the calendar on the left he will have to choose the check-in date. Once chosen, he will see a preview of prices on the right according to the number of nights. He can then click on the number of nights he is interested in. Above that, he can select the number of guests:

Please note that if you have set a min stay of more than 13 nights, your calendar will always be closed, as the system can not accurately calculate the available nights and their price.

In case there is no availability, Flexible Dates will provide the guest with other suggestions:

NOTE: Moreover, at any time the user can share the results with a friend or travel mate! On the top right there is always the "SHARE" button, to share the link via email or Whatsapp!

2. Choice of accommodation

At this point, the guest will see all available accommodation, with the available rates and boards. If you offer more than one board, the guest will be able to select from the drop-down menu the one he is most interested in.

At this point the guest will have added the room(s) to the shopping cart and can continue. On the right-hand side the shopping cart is always open, so that a summary of the selected accommodation is displayed at any time:

3. Choice of extras

If you have also defined some extras/experiences, the guest will see them in this step. He will be able to see the details and choose which and how many to add to the cart. At the top the guest also has the option of filtering by the type of extras he is looking for, e.g. transport:

4. Personal data entry

By continuing, the guest will have to fill in all his personal data, choose the check-in time and accept the privacy policy:

5. Guarantee method

Now the guest will have to choose how to confirm his reservation according to the guarantee methods you have configured. If you have configured more than one method, then the guest will be able to choose. If, on the other hand, you have only configured one method (e.g. immediate payment), then the guest will have to use that one.

6. Final confirmation and voucher

Finally, once the reservation has been completed, the guest will see a confirmation page from which he can
  • open his reservation voucher
  • open the page dedicated to his reservation, with a summary of all the data and all possible actions (e.g. online check-in)
  • check the location of your property on Google Maps
  • see all the property info (name, address, contacts, etc)
