Zak Booking Engine (also called Online Reception) allows you to implement
a sales engine on your site with a double goal: selling accommodation and
increasing your direct contacts.
We also have the idea of providing a mini-site: the Online Reception is designed to provide not only a reservation system, but also contents, descriptions, a contact form and any kind of useful information. At least for properties that have simple requirements for their sites.
Let's see together how to configure the new Zak Booking Engine!
Configuration Steps
NB: The steps below are for those who have never used the
Booking Engine. If instead you are a tester* of the new
system or were already using the old one, you will find everything
already configured automatically. However, we suggest checking all
sections again.
1. First of all, make sure that you have subscribed to the Online Reception package in the following menu:
2. Now configure the pictures and descriptions of your rooms and the services that you offer. You can set these contents in the following section:
3. Then configure all settings for the Booking Engine, which you will find in the following menu:

4. Once completed the configuration, you can generate the widget and provide the specific code to your WebMaster, so that he can install it on your website. The WebMaster just has to copy and paste it into your site, in the area where to install the widget. Or, if you know how to proceed, you can also install the widget yourself.
