ZaK - Guest Page and Online Check-in settings

ZaK offers the possibility of sending your guests an email - automatically or manually - with a link to ask them to complete the online check-in before arriving at the property. In the following article, we have seen how to do it:

By clicking on the link, the guest can fill in his data, but that's not all! This form also allows online management of your reservation: here the guest can cancel his reservation, create a new one, leave a feedback, add a note, specify the arrival time, buy extras, view the voucher, etc.

If you wish to customize the online reservation management page, you can do it from the following menu:

Here you have several possibilities:


1. UPSELLING EXTRAS AND EXPERIENCES


Choose whether the guest, in the online management form, can view your extras and add them to his reservation:


If the customer buys an extra, the property will receive an email notification.

In order for an extra to be visible, remember to first create it under Products>Extras and then enable it under Sales>Online Reception>Extras.

They will then be displayed in the online management form as in the following example:

2. WELCOME MESSAGE


Choose whether to add a welcome message in the online management form. You can choose one of the messages you have created under Settings>Templates, and enable it here:


If configured, it will be displayed in the online management form as in the following example:


3. FEEDBACKS


Choose whether to allow your guests to leave you feedback after check-out:


If you wish to enable them, you can configure them under Settings>Configurations>Feedbacks.

4. CANCELLATIONS


Choose whether the guest can cancel the reservation by himself or whether he has to contact you:

5. PRIVACY INFORMATION


Insert here a link to your privacy policy:


If set, it will be shown in the online management form as in the following example, through a clickable link:


6. ACCESSIBLE VOUCHER


Define here whether your guests can view the voucher from the online management form or whether you prefer to hide it:

7. ASK FOR CUSTOMER SIGNATURE


Choose whether customers, after filling in their data, must also enter their electronic signature. You can also choose whether the signature should be optional or mandatory to go on:


If enabled, the guest's signature will be shown on his Registration Card and it will be requested in the online management form as in the following example:


8. CUSTOMER REQUIRED INFO


If you use the Pii package, you can choose to have only the mandatory information for Pii reports requested from the guest during online check-in. You can also choose to hide optional information or to show it anyway, in case the guest wants to fill it in:



Therefore ZaK is able to detect which data are necessary and mandatory for the reports, according to the Pii that you enabled and configured.
NOTE: If the Pii package is not subscribed, all fields will be shown in the online check-in.


If, instead, you do NOT use the Pii package, you can select "Custom fields" and choose which data will be requested from the guest. Again, you can choose whether to hide or show the optional fields:
