At ZaK, prices and restrictions are managed through rates. Each rate defines the set of commercial conditions under which accommodation or products are sold.
To modify these values, the system offers two tools: Tabla and Sytar, which allow you to update the information daily or on a time-based basis.
What is a rate?
A rate is the configuration that determines how a product is marketed within the system. Each rate includes various elements, including:
Prices by date
Sales restrictions (e.g., minimum stay or sales closures)
Board (room only, bed and breakfast, etc.)
Currency
Cancellation policy
Rates apply to the property's various products and can be managed using the price editing tools.
Tools for updating prices and restrictions
ZaK offers two main ways to edit rates.
Tabla
The Tabla is a calendar that allows you to view and edit prices and restrictions day by day. This tool is especially useful when you need to make specific adjustments on particular dates. From the Tabla, you can modify individual values directly on the calendar.☞ More info: Tabla
Sytar
Sytar allows you to update prices and restrictions by date blocks using a "From/To" range.
This tool is primarily used to apply bulk changes, for example, when updating prices for an entire season or applying restrictions for a specific period.

Situations where it is not possible to modify a value
In some cases, the system may prevent the editing of prices or restrictions. The two most frequent causes are the following:
Existence of rate or product derivations
If you are working with derivations, some values may be controlled by another tariff or product, so direct editing will not be possible. In the Table, derivations are distinguished because the data is displayed in gray, without the possibility of editing.
In these cases, the modification must first be made in the main rate or product from which it derives. Alternatively, it may be necessary to edit the derivation first in order to apply the required change.
To check if a tariff or product has an active derivation (and which one), you should check the specific section:
Minimum or maximum price limits
The system may also prevent the loading of values that do not comply with the minimum or maximum limits configured for a unit. If the entered value falls outside these parameters, the system will not allow it to be saved. Price limits are found within the settings for each Room Type and are optional.
