Generally, guests staying at your property will also have meals in your restaurant, depending on their reservation board (breakfast, half-board, etc.). Or you may have a reservation with only breakfast included, but who decides to eat lunch or dinner as well, at an additional cost.
In this case, Kylix offers you the possibility of charging directly to the reservation what they consume.
You must proceed from the following section:

Here, on the right, you can click on the icon to view the list of today's services, both those in progress (which have yet to be paid and closed) and those already paid:
By clicking on the arrow next to a service, you can view its details and at the bottom you will find the "Charge To Reservation" button:
You will see all arriving and in-house reservations/rooms/guests. You can also search for a reservation using the search band.
Choose now if charging the service to a reservation, a room or a specific customer:
On the left you will see all the meals included in that service and you will have to select those to be charged. Below you will find the total for the selected services, which you can change manually if you want to apply a discount, for example.
When you click on "Confirm", the meal will be added to the chosen reservation. In the reservation detail, you will find it under "MEALS":
As you can see in the image above, you will find the type of meal (lunch) and the total price. By clicking on the Kylix icon , you'll also find all dishes and their prices (printable):
Once a meal has been charged to a reservation, it will appear in Kylix as already paid, and therefore the dollar icon will appear (green if totally paid or orange if partially paid):
Therefore, from now on, the payment must be handled directly on the reservation and no longer on Kylix.

! ATTENTION: if you manually cancel the meal in the "MEALS" section of the reservation, it will again appear as unpaid in Kylix and the dollar icon will disappear. You will be able to make the payment again from Kylix or charge it to another reservation.
NOTE: If you only charge a few meals to the reservation, the remainder will have to be managed manually. It is not possible to charge the remaining meals to the reservation later.
