- It only manages the room available/room NOT available information, but does not give information on how many rooms are still available. That is, if on some dates you have run out of room availability, because you have received reservations or you have closed the physical available rooms, the iCal link sends "room not available" for those dates.
- Prices, number of units available and restrictions are therefore NOT updated by ZaK, but only the exhaustion of the physical availability of the rooms. In particular, iCal does not take into account "Closures" and "No OTA" set at rate level on Tabla and Sytar and availability brought to zero by the "OTA Limit" and "Availability Modifier" restrictions is not taken into consideration.
- Reservations get by the OTA are not automatically integrated in ZaK: you need to create them manually n Zak.
NOTE. Bear in mind that iCal will cost the same as a channel:
- 7€/month if you have up to 3 channels
- 6€/month if you have 4 or 5 channels
- 5€/month if you have 6 or more channels
To use it, you must first add it from the following section by clicking on the +:
↳ Useful link ZaK > Sales > Channels > Add new channel
Once added, inside you'll find 4 sub-sections. Let's see them together.
1. Room Types
Here you will find a link for each room type you have in ZaK, which should be copied and pasted into the portal extranet, where you should find a specific section.
☞ Docs: Zak - Room Categories
2. Physical Rooms
Here you will find a link for each physical room you have in ZaK, so it is a more specific subdivision. For example, my Double room is composed of the physical rooms MAT1 and MAT2. In this case too, the link must be copied and pasted into the portal extranet.

3. Super Products
☞ Docs: ZaK - Super Products
4. Useful Files
Here you will find two links, to be used only in case you have these needs:
- a link with all your rooms always closed, in case you need to temporarily close the sale
- a link with all your rooms always open, without closures
