Zak - Statistics and Filters

The Statistics tool matches data from a specific set of reservations. Specifically, in this article we are going to deal with the filters that you find in each statistics section (except for the Daily Dash). You can access the statistics by clicking on the top right icon and then "Stats":


By clicking on the top left icon , you will see all filters. You can set which reservations must be involved in the calculation by filtering them according to different criteria:

Date range filters


First of all, you will find some fields to customize the search dates:
  • From.. - To.. : statistics will be calculated only on stays included in this time range. The entire current year is always selected by default.
  • Created from.. - Created until.. : statistics will be calculated only on reservations created in this time range.
  • Compare with other dates: for each row in the table, you will see the comparison with the selected period.

Filters about reservation details


Below the date filters, you will find other filters to further restrict and refine your search:

  • Reservation Status: to display only reservations with a specific status. By default "Confirmed" and "Option" are always selected.
  • Board: to display only reservations associated with room only, breakfast, half board, full board or all inclusive.
  • Room type: to display reservations for specific room categories only.
  • Reservation tag: to display only those reservations to which you have assigned specific tags.
  • Room tag: to display reservations for specific room types only, based on the assigned room tag.
  • Sales channel: to display only reservations coming from Booking Engine, Channel Manager, Parteners or manually entered.
  • OTA or Metasearch: if you chose "Channel Manager" in the field above, here you can filter for a specific channel.
  • Agency: to display only reservations associated with a specific agency.
  • Corporate: to display only reservations associated with a specific corporate.


Quick filters


As you can see in the picture above, before these filters you have the "Quick filters" field, which is empty by default:


This field allows you to save a set of filters and have it always available. So fill in the filters below that you want to save and then click the icon . Choose a name to save the set and click on SAVE:

This way, whenever you want you can quickly and easily recall and apply that filter:


Export and Show


Every time you change the filters, remember to click the "Show" button to recalculate the data.

NOTE: if you make other changes in the PMS (e.g. create or cancel a reservation), you must refresh the page to update the statistics.


The data you have generated on this page can be exported as a .csv file, where the separator is the comma and the string delimiter is the double quote ". This file contains one line of filtered data for each day and you can also open it from MS Office.

Other filters


Finally, at the top you will find 4 other important filters:

  • Group by: choose whether in the graph and table you want to see results divided by day, month, year or by hot dates
  • Hot dates: if you chose "Hot Dates" in the field above, here you can choose exactly which dates to display (from those created in Planner and zView)
  • Data in chart: choose which indicators to display in the graph below
  • VAT included: enable/disable the button to display results with or without VAT



NOTE: by clicking on the icon you can hide the graph and display only the table with the results.
